Voters in two ridings see new MPs elected today: Lac-Saint-Jean, Que. and Sturgeon River–Parkland, Alta.

Former cabinet minister Denis Lebel and former interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose previously held the ridings.
CPAC’s Danielle Young visited Lac-Saint-Jean for a 2015 Campaign Politics profile:
Lebel won with 33.3-per-cent support, with the NDP taking second place (28.5%) and the Liberals and Bloc both at 18%.
In Sturgeon River–Parkland, Ambrose took 70.2% of the vote in 2015, with the Liberals a distant second at 15.6%.
