The government’s transportation bill (C-49) is on the order paper to begin the week in the House of Commons — with a time allocation motion expected from the government.

MPs consider a Senate bill to officially recognize Charlottetown as the “Birthplace of Confederation” (S-236) — citing the role of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference in bringing about the union of British North America three years later.
