The legislation includes Canada’s proposed membership in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, additional oversight powers for the Bank of Canada, and the interprovincial free trade agreement announced in April 2017.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke in Hanoi earlier today with Vietnamese counterpart Nguyễn Xuân Phúc:

MPs vote on two motions and two private member’s bills — on the right to housing (C-325) and on firearms licences (C-346).

Bill S-211 is debated at third reading.

The order paper also has a concurrence motion from the finance committee to abandon a private member’s bill on tax credits for first aid training.
