Vote 2015 – Vancouver South
CPAC's Ed Watson drops in on Vancouver South, an urban BC riding where 55% of voters are immigrants, mostly from China and India. Housing costs, immigration delays and the economy are the big issues here. Incumbent Conservative MP Wai Young won this long-time Liberal riding in 2011, but faces a strong challenge from Liberal Harjit Singh Sajjan, a former Vancouver police officer, and Canadian Forces Afghan veteran. NDP candidate Amandeep Nijjar is a union finance officer and mother of two young daughters, while the Greens Elain Ng is an independent mortgage broker.
