Vote 2015 – Portneuf–Jacques-Cartier
Portneuf – Jacques-Cartier is one of the ridings that were swept up in the "orange wave" during the last federal elections. A newcomer to federal politics before 2011, Élaine Michaud is running against three candidates to win a second term in the House of Commons as an NDP MP. Joël Godin, a communication expert who has worked on the political scene in Quebec, is representing the Conservative Party. The Liberal candidate is David Gauvin, an engineer, while businessman Raymond Harvey is running under the Bloc Québécois banner. CPAC’s Danielle Young followed these four candidates as they campaigned in this semi-rural riding near Quebec’s capital.
