Vote 2015 – Montmagny–L'Islet–Kamouraska–Rivière-du-Loup
CPAC’s Philippe Murat reports on the Quebec riding of Montmagny–L’Islet–Kamouraska–Rivière-du-Loup. After votes were erroneously assigned to the Green party during the last election, a judicial recount led to a spectacular upset. NDP candidate François Lapointe ended up winning instead of his Conservative opponent Bernard Généreux. The current race is turning out to be a true rematch between the two rivals. The Liberal Party’s Marie-Josée Normand, Bloc Québécois’ Louis Gagnon and Rhinoceros Party’s Dan Bien Gras Gagné are all vying for this seat. Though the Green party’s Chantal Breton is a confirmed candidate, she is not campaigning in the riding.
