Vote 2015 – Vaughan–Woodbridge
CPAC’s Laura Di Battista introduces us to the suburban Toronto riding of Vaughan-Woodbridge -- essentially a two-horse race with only the Conservatives and Liberals mounting serious campaigns. It features the high-profile Conservative incumbent, former veterans affairs minister and Toronto police chief Julian Fantino, facing off against Liberal candidate Francesco Sorbara. With half the population being of Italian heritage, this is a new riding which reflects the enormous growth north of Toronto. Adriana Zichy for the NDP and the Green party's Elsie Boulanger are both running their campaigns while away at university, with Libertarian candidate Anthony Gaultieri rounding out the field.
