Rachel Notley, Alberta’s NDP premier, addresses the gathered delegates. She outlines her government’s achievements and its goals, including a push to raise the minimum wage, the development of a climate change strategy and the continuing need for Alberta to embrace its energy resources and economy. Peter Van Dusen welcomes back his panel of NDP strategists to discuss the premier's speech and her call for oil pipelines to be built from Alberta to tidewater on both coasts. Alberta's Deputy Premier Sarah Hoffman also addresses the media after Notley's speech and describes Alberta's ongoing frustration with the rest of Canada over the pipeline issue.
