2018 Liberal Convention – Delegates Debate Policy Resolutions

Delegates debate policy resolutions on the third and final day of the Liberal party’s national convention in Halifax on April 21, 2018.

From the 30 resolutions that were debated the day before in open policy workshops, delegates voted online and chose 20 policy ideas to debate at the policy plenary. The 20 resolutions being considered include the decriminalization of low-level drug possession, universal pharmacare, the implementation of a minimum guaranteed income, an oil and gas independence policy, and the decriminalization of consensual sex work.
