News Conference – Compensation for Sixties Scoop Survivors
On October 6, 2017, in Ottawa, Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett announces an agreement in principle to compensate Indigenous victims who, as children, were placed with non-Indigenous families beginning in the 1960s.
