Ministers Comment on Meeting with Colten Boushie’s Family

Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould and Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale speak to reporters in Ottawa about their meeting with the family of Colten Boushie, the 22-year-old Indigenous man who was fatally shot in 2016. Saskatchewan farmer Gerald Stanley was found not guilty last week of second-degree murder. Members of Boushie’s family are in Ottawa this week to meet with federal ministers and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about possible reforms to the justice system.
