NDP Calls for More Railway Pedestrian Crossings

NDP MPs Hélène Laverdière and Alexandre Boulerice speak with reporters in Ottawa following the presentation of a petition calling on the government to take action on the lack of safe railway crossings in urban areas.

Caroline Gosselin from the Conseil régional de l’environnement de Montréal et Nathalie Casemajor from the Collectif citoyen pour des passages à niveau also speak with reporters. The two groups started the petition, which has 2,300 signatures, in 2017. (March 20, 2018) (no interpretation)
