Experts Urge G7 Leaders to Take Action on Rohingya Crisis

Former foreign affairs minister Lloyd Axworthy and Canada’s Special Envoy to Myanmar Bob Rae hold an Ottawa news conference to discuss the findings from a recent conference on the Rohingya crisis. Samantha McGavin from Inter Pares, Farida Deif of Human Rights Watch and Ahmed Ramadan from Burma Task Force also speak. More than half a million Rohingya Muslims are estimated to have fled persecution in Myanmar since August 2017.
