Justin Trudeau Announces Lac-Mégantic Railway Bypass

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard and federal Transportation Minister Marc Garneau announce a new railway bypass for Lac-Mégantic at a news conference in the Quebec town on May 11, 2018. The bypass will be built to keep trains out of Lac-Mégantic’s downtown core, five years after a train carrying crude oil derailed and exploded in the town, killing 47 people. (no interpretation)
