Chrystia Freeland on NAFTA as Latest Round of Talks Wraps Up
Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland speaks with reporters in Washington, D.C., as the latest round of negotiations for an updated North American Free Trade Agreement end. The minister held meetings this week with senior trade officials from the United States and Mexico. She also met with U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, who has set a May 17 deadline for NAFTA negotiators to reach a final deal, in order to allow the current U.S. Congress to vote on it this year.
