Official Languages Commissioner Raymond Théberge Releases 2017-18 Annual Report
Federal official languages commissioner Raymond Théberge holds a news conference in Ottawa, following the tabling of his first annual report. He found that federal institutions lack tools to properly assess themselves, particularly in relation to communications with and services to the public. In-person and telephone services were still an issue for some institutions. Théberge was nominated to his position in November 2017 and took office on January 29, 2018. (June 12, 2018)
