Government Rejects Several Senate Changes to Cannabis Bill
On Parliament Hill, Health Minister Ginette Petitpas Taylor and Bill Blair, the parliamentary secretary to the justice minister, speaks with reporters about the Senate’s amendments to Bill C-45, the federal government’s marijuana legislation. The minister confirms the government is rejecting the amendment to allow individual provinces to ban the home cultivation of cannabis.
