Conservative MPs to Meet with Workers Affected by Tariff Dispute

Conservative deputy leader Lisa Raitt and Treasury Board critic Gérard Deltell hold a news conference in Ottawa. The MPs announce details of the party’s cross-country summer tour to meet workers and business owners affected by the Canada-U.S. trade dispute over aluminium and steel tariffs. The party is calling it the Defend Local Jobs Tour, and it is scheduled to begin in July and continue through August. (June 27, 2018)
