Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu on Bill to Ban Cosmetic Animal Testing
Conservative MP and health critic Marilyn Gladu holds a news conference on Parliament Hill following the tabling in the House of Commons of Bill S-214, which will ban animal testing in cosmetics in Canada, as well as prohibit the sales of cosmetics developed or manufactured using animal testing. Aviva Vetter, campaign manager with Humane Society International/ Canada, and Liz White, director of the Animal Alliance of Canada, also make remarks.
