PM Trudeau: Canada Will Ban Harmful Single-Use Plastics
Speaking with reporters at a nature reserve in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Que., Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announces the federal government’s plan to implement a ban on certain single-use plastics as early as 2021. The government is also proposing to make plastics manufacturers and vendors who use plastic packaging responsible for their waste. (June 10, 2019) (no interpretation)
