MPs begin consideration of the terms of the Paris Agreement on climate change, October 3, 2016.

The agreement, reached in December 2015, sets ambitious targets to reduce global warming and offers assistance to countries affected by climate change.

Participants in the debate include Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Ed Fast (the Conservative critic for environment and climate change), Linda Duncan (the NDP MP for Edmonton Strathcona, Alta.), and Elizabeth May (the leader of the Green party).
