House of Commons Proceedings - Jason Kenney Bids Goodbye to the House

Jason Kenney makes remarks in the House of Commons on September 22, 2016, following his announcement that he will resign as the Conservative MP for Calgary Midnapore, Alta. Kenney, who first came to Ottawa in 1997 as the Reform party MP for the riding of Calgary Southeast, is leaving federal politics to pursue the leadership of the Alberta Progressive Conservatives.

Rona Ambrose (the leader of the Official Opposition), Kevin Lamoureux (parliamentary secretary to the government House leader), and Brian Masse (the NDP MP for Windsor West, Ont.) also pay tribute to the veteran MP.
