In Committee from the Senate of Canada - Aboriginal Peoples – October 25, 2011

The committee convened to examine and report on the federal government’s constitutional, treaty, political and legal responsibilities to First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples and on other matters generally relating to the Aboriginal Peoples of Canada.

The witnesses at this meeting, from the British Columbia Treaty Commission, were Chief Commissioner Sophie Pierre and commissioners Robert Phillips, David Haggard, and Celeste Haldane.
