The committee concluded the first portion of its study on the political and economic developments in Brazil. Ambassador Piragibe Dos Santos Tarragô discussed the country’s economy, foreign policy, and relations with Canada. Brazil is currently preparing to host the World Cup in 2014 and the summer Olympics in 2016.
