David Phillips (president and chief executive officer of the Credit Union Central of Canada), John Lahey (president and chief executive officer from Alterna Savings), and James Gosselin (vice president of corporate lending of Steinbach Credit Union) appeared before the committee. Marion Wrobel (vice-president of Policy and Operations) and Gail Cocker (vice-president of Commercial Banking and Global Treasury Management, BMO Financial Group) from the Canadian Bankers Association also testified.
