Senators pursued their study of Canadian foreign policy regarding Iran and its implications with testimony from two senior representatives of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

Barbara Martin, director general of the Middle East and Maghreb Bureau, and Donald Sinclair, director general of the International Security Bureau, discussed sanctions on the Iranian regime, human rights in Iran, and the country's nuclear program.
