Jody Wilson-Raybould, British Columbia regional chief, and Karen Campbell, senior policy analyst, both from the Assembly of First Nation appeared before the committee to discuss Bill S-6, an act which would affect the election process and terms of office for chiefs and councillors of certain First Nations. Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat co-chairs Chief Candice Paul and Chief Lawrence Paul, as well as executive director John Paul also addressed the committee.
