Military historian Jack Granatstein discussed the lessons learned from the Canadian Forces operations in Afghanistan. He spoke about Canada's successes in Kabul from 2003 to 2005, the need to define clearly our military and political objectives, and future alliance operations. Granatstein co-authored a paper on Canada's mission in Afghanistan that was published in October 2011.
