Representatives of the Canadian Snowbird Association discussed Passport Canada's fee-for-service proposal, which would allow the agency to raise its fees to facilitate the introduction of an ePassport.

Association president Bob Slack and executive director Michael Mackenzie expressed their support for the proposed $160 fee for a 10-year ePassport for adults, which they feel strikes a right balance. In 2010, the association had participated in Passport Canada's public consultations on its proposal.
