Kate Stiefelmeyer of the George Morris Centre discussed the increase in demand for food, and Canada’s declining share in world exports of various food products. She was joined by her colleague Larry Martin, who provided a few recommendations to increase Canada’s international food trade. T. Howard Mains from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers discussed the difference in farming from one region to another, and the need for specific tools for specialized farming.
