In Committee from the Senate of Canada - Foreign Affairs – May 9, 2012

Ramin Jahanbegloo, an associate professor of political science at the University of Toronto, discussed Canadian foreign policy regarding Iran and its implications via videoconference. Lawyers Ali Ehsassi and Kaveh Shahrooz provided a legal perspective to the discussion and provided recommendations to improve the situation in Iran.

Upon completion of the witness’ testimony, senators then turned to the consideration of a draft report titled “Passport Canada’s Fee-for-Service Proposal to Parliament”.
