Finance Minister Jim Flaherty discussed Bill C-38, the budget implementation legislation.

The 425-page omnibus bill includes an overhaul of environmental regulations, changes to the Employment Insurance program, and raising the age of eligibility for Old Age Security.

Gilles Moreau from the RCMP discussed changes to the Canada Health Act which would affect the way members of the force access health care. Eileen Boyd from the Privy Council Office discussed how the bill would impact her department.

UPDATE: Bill C-38 received royal assent on June 29.
