In Committee from the Senate of Canada - Anti-terrorism – May 28, 2012

Justice Minister Rob Nicholson appeared before the committee to discuss Bill S-9, the government’s nuclear terrorism legislation.

The bill aims to combat nuclear terrorism through the creation of four new offences indictable under the Criminal Code. The minister responded to questions on topics including the bill’s application and the creation of similar measures in other countries.

Department counsel Catherine Kane and Greg Koster answered questions on technical aspects of the bill.
