William Tobey from Harvard University appeared before the committee to speak about the ongoing risk of nuclear threats. His colleagues Matthew Bunn and Simon Saradzhyan testified via videoconference from Boston to elaborate on risk reduction. In the second part of the meeting, Miles Pomper from the Monterey Institute for International Studies appeared via videoconference from Washington to compare similar legislation under consideration in the United States, and urged senators to support the bill.
