Industry Canada officials Anne-Marie Monteith, Paul Halucha and Robert Dupelle answered questions on technical aspects of Bill C-11, before senators conducted their clause-by-clause review of the copyright legislation.

Committee members held three days of hearings on the bill, with testimony from Industry Minister Christian Paradis, Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore, and various stakeholders affected by copyright reform, including artists, authors, book publishers, the education community and consumers.

UPDATE: Bill C-11 received royal assent on June 29.
