Liberal Senator Grant Mitchell spoke about his bill that would create a non-refundable tax credit for carbon offset purchases. Bill S-205 encourages individuals to do something constructive and effective about reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Sean Keenan and Suzanne White, two senior officials with the Department of Finance, discussed some of the issues involved in implementing the legislation. The bill would amend the Income Tax Act.
