Senators began the second stage of their study on prescription pharmaceuticals in Canada. Paul Glover and Marc Berthiaume, both from Health Canada, discussed “post-approval monitoring” and their department's role. Neil Maxwell and Louise Dubé, from the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, outlined their audit on the regulation of pharmaceutical drugs at Health Canada.
