National Finance (October 24, 2012)

Representatives from the Public Service Commission of Canada discuss the expenditures set out in the 2012-13 main estimates. Commission president Anne-Marie Robinson and vice presidents Hélène Laurendeau, Denis Bilodeau and Elizabeth Murphy-Walsh all testify.

In the second part of the meeting, senators begin their study of Bill C-46, which deals with changes to MP pensions. Kim Gowing and Joan Arnold from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, and Sean Keenan and Alexandra MacLean of the Department of Finance discuss the current and future breakdowns of the MP pension plan.
