Senators deal with two different topics during the meeting, starting with a discussion of emerging issues in the Canadian airline industry. Fabien Pelous, vice-president and CEO of Air France KLM in Canada, testifies during this portion.

Committee then turn their attention to two measures that are contained in the budget implementation bill. David Bradley, president and CEO of the Canadian Trucking Alliance, discusses measures to expedite the construction of a new bridge between Windsor and Detroit, and proposed changes to the Customs Act.

UPDATE: Bill C-45 received royal assent on December 14.
