National Security and Defence

Vice-Admiral Paul Maddison, commander of the Royal Canadian Navy, provides an update on the navy and the challenges that it faces.

Senators then move to clause clause-by-clause consideration of Bill S-213, An Act respecting a national day of remembrance to honour Canadian veterans of the Korean War. The bill would set aside July 27 every year as National Korean War Veterans Day.
