Senators continue their consideration of Bill S-17, the Tax Conventions Implementation Act. This bill implements Canada's recently concluded tax treaties with Namibia, Serbia, Poland and Hong Kong, as well as tax agreements with Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Jack Mintz of University of Calgary's School of Public Policy, Cyndee Todgham Cherniak of Lexsage Professional Corporation, and Nick Pantaleo of PricewaterhouseCoopers testify.

UPDATE: Bill S-17 received royal assent on June 19.
