The legislation will transfer the decision-making and administration of land and resource management from the federal government to the N.W.T. Former Yukon Premier Dennis Fentie and Whitehorse Councillor Kirk Cameron speak on the experiences and lessons learned from Yukon’s devolution. Neil McCrank, former Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development special representative for the Northern Regulatory Improvement Initiative, testifies on his 2008 report on regulatory systems in the North.
