Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Chief Vincent Tacan is among the witnesses who discuss Bill C-16, the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Governance Act. This agreement provides that SVDN has jurisdiction to enact laws in a variety of areas.

Tribal Attorney Bruce Slusar, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada lawyer Lee Webber and senior negotiators Stephen Peltz and Blake McLaughlin also testify. (February 25, 2014)
