In Committee from the Senate of Canada - Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources - March 25, 2014


The senators continue their study on the current state of "One Call" programs that identify critical underground infrastructure in Canada. In the first part of the committee the senators hear from the chief operating officer Jim Donihee and the vice-president of safety and sustainability Ziad Saad of the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association who appear via videoconference from Calgary. The Canadian Energy Pipeline Association represents Canada's transmission pipeline companies.
In the second part of the committee the senators hear from the vice-president of policy development Francis Bradley and the director of government relations Geoff Smith of the Canadian Electricity Association. The Canadian Electricity Association is the voice of the electricity industry in Canada. (March 25, 2014)
