In Committee from the Senate of Canada

Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources – March 27, 2014

The committee continues its study on the current state of the “One Call” program which identifies critical underground infrastructure in Canada. Senators hear from Frank Zechner, Canadian Construction Association, who argues that in the interest of public safety there needs to be a mandated public call centre for centralized and up-to-date information on buried infrastructure: including: gas lines, electrical lines, water mains, phone lines, and other utilities.
