In Committee from the Senate of Canada - Aboriginal Peoples - April 1, 2014

Roxanne Harper, vice-president of the Turtle Island Association Incorporated, testifies in the committee’s study on the challenges relating to housing and infrastructure on reserves. Ms. Harper speaks on the importance of capacity development in First Nations communities and the idea of market-based housing on reserves.

The Senators also proceed to the clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-9, an Act respecting the election of chiefs and councillors of certain First Nations.
