Interim Privacy Commissioner Chantal Bernier discusses privacy concerns related to the collection of data by telecommunications companies. The committee is studying Bell Canada's practice of collecting and analyzing data from its customers for commercial purposes including targeted advertising. The commissioner's office is also investigating Bell Canada's new privacy policy. (April 29, 2014)
