Bell Canada executive vice-president Mirko Bibic, Bell privacy ombudsman William Abbott and senior counsel Philippe Gauvin, defend the company's practice of collecting and analyzing its customers' data for commercial purposes including targeted advertising. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner is currently investigating Bell Canada’s new privacy policy after receiving 170 consumer complaints. (April 30, 2014)
