During the first part of the meeting, Jerry Hayes, the commercial lead for Beeologics/Monsanto discusses contributing factors to the decline in honeybee health, specifically parasitic mites, nutrition and pesticides.

The second part of the meeting features Coral Sproule, a bee farmer and the 2nd vice president of the National Farmers Union, and fellow beekeeper Michael Lynch-Staunton provide possible alternatives to neonicotinoid treated seeds. (May 1, 2014)
