In Committee from the Senate of Canada
Aboriginal Peoples - May 13, 2014
The senators continue their study on challenges relating to First Nations infrastructure on reserves. John G. Paul, executive director for the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat, explains that as the First Nations communities continue to grow, the demands for infrastructure are steadily increasing at a pace which does not match the available funding. The APC's mandate is to research, analyze and develop alternatives to federal policies that affect the Mi'kmaq, Maliseet, Innu and Passmaquoddy First Nations in the Atlantic region. (May 13, 2014)
